Each set of four coasters starts with a walk in nature, where we carefully collect a Pilkhan leaf to use as the natural imprint for each piece. We, as an artist duo, hand-sculpt and hand-paint every coaster using a traditional papier-mache technique, turning sustainable, biodegradable materials into modern, stylish home essentials. To make them last, we seal each one with a protective lacquer, add a soft cork base to prevent scratches, and build them to be strong and easy to repair. We believe true beauty should last, so these coasters are made to be cherished and cared for over the years.
